Mr. Pedro José Sánchez, who was in charge of the role of Service Delivery Executive in our company, will now be in charge of managing our global operation for this country, thanks to its excellent function and performance, among other reasons. Among his main tasks as Country Manager are to perform strategic and operational planning, business development, operations management, administrative management and optimization of resources, so that together these tasks would be possible to increase the profitability of the Company locally in line with the rest of the countries in the region.
Pedro Sánchez is an outstanding engineer, with great prestige in Colombia and in the Region, among his most important achievements, of the many he has had, is to coordinate the implementation of the MPLS network in Colombia among other important deployments for IMPSAT clients (during his time at that company). At AT & T Mexico, it consolidated the IP / MPLS networks, simplifying and improving the total cost of ownership, automating processes that would allow time-to-market optimization and transform it into a highly programmable network.
It has also been for about 10 years Network Consulting Engineer in Cisco attending accounts in several Latin American countries collaborating with the NCE in the region in the adoption of best practices in the provision of services, promoting in regional clients the adoption of technologies such as IPv6, multicast VPN, Seamles MPLS.
This experience in the relationship with clients is complemented by a commercial and marketing profile that he developed extensively during his time at IMPSAT, where he was an IP Product Marketing Specialist, designing the portfolio of services for the Andean region, training and preparing sales specialists, and in synergy with the finance team in the evaluation of the success of the portfolio.
We believe that his extensive experience of more than 20 years in the market in the telecommunications network sector, his capacity, knowledge and good deal with customers will make it possible for his new role in CiberC as Country Manager to be a work more than prosperous.
